Argentine Tango workshop with Miriam and Miles

The social sacada is an extremely compact type of sacada that can work within the line and lane of dance where the lead sacadas the follower in close or open embrace. These types of sacadas are done on the follower's side step and/or the forward steps. Come and learn these wonderful sacadas that you can immediately apply in your dance today! We will explore lead technique, follower technique, and couple's technique in how to respond appropriately.

My weekly Argentine tango classes on Wednesday evenings are a friendly mixed-level group really welcoming and encouraging for total beginners as well as being challenging for experienced tango dancers because I passionately believe that a large part of the tango experience is about being able to adjust ourselves to various different dance partners in the most mutually pleasurable way whatever their level of experience. 

Join our friendly Colchester tango community and dive into the vibrant world of Argentine tango! 

No need to bring a partner and no dance experience necessary. This is a mixed-level group class always welcoming new beginners who learn quickly with the friendly encouragement of more experienced tango dancers. And for those of you with more tango experience I always have challenges and exercises to get your tango up to the next level.

If you don't already dance tango then come to our beginners introduction to Argentine tango beforehand, 5-6pm, £10 to get started on your tango journey!

Parking is available in the street on Sundays and also at car parks such as St. Mary's, Butt Road and P:riory St.
